Big News for DVA Parents!

As we shared in March, we’re excited to launch our new traffic plan for drop-off and pick-up on April 14! This plan is designed to make your mornings and afternoons smoother and more efficient. Here are the exciting details:

For Car-Rider Pro Parents:

• Double the Convenience! You’ll now have two lanes to use when entering the campus.

• Easy Navigation: Simply take the first right turn and head towards the eastern gate before arrival and dismissal times.

• Important Reminder: Once you join the Car-Rider Pro queue, please proceed all the way through to exit the campus. This helps keep everything running smoothly!

For Walk-in Pick-up Parents and Daycare Vehicles:

• Convenient Parking: Take the second turn into the southern parking spaces, where you can park and pick up your children.

• Traffic Flow: Please be aware that traffic will both enter and exit through this lane, so keep an eye out for oncoming vehicles.

• Exiting and Re-entering: If you need to join the Car-Rider Pro queue after parking, you’ll need to exit the campus first and then re-enter.

We’re committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and support! If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to reach out. Let’s work together to make our campus a safe and happy place for everyone!

Tips for Parents

  • Don’t show up before the gates open

  • Show up earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid heavy congestion times

  • Stay off your phone while on campus; it makes the process go faster for everyone involved.

  • When exiting, consider which exit is less congested to allow you off campus faster.

  • If dropping off, pull into a parking spot; you will have to exit the same way you entered.

  • DO NOT drop off on 16th St in the turn lane. If you do and then exit the turn lane without turning, that is a moving violation, and you may be cited.

Benefits of the new plan for parents

  • Reduces the congestion of traffic coming onto campus

  • Makes it safer for parents to enter the campus- less chance for accidents

  • There are two options to exit the campus now
